Okay,
putting front end together after oilite install, having some troubles- can't seem to get the sway bar mounted back up. I have the sway bar inserted through bulkhead, one side sway bar link and spherical ball joint attached to a arm. Now on the other side it seems like I am missing on of the grooves or something on the sway bar. No matter how I rotate the link I cannot get the spherical joint to line up on the a arm, it either goes to far or not far enough?
Any ideas/ experiences would be greatly appreciated
Thanks,
Jimmy

rindtj said:I stole this from the FAQs page. The ball joint attaching the link (rectangular) to the a arm doesn't fit properly, after reading the FAQ page I am going to look at the bar and see if there is an index mark on the sway bar- any other ideas?
There should be a straight slot or scribe mark on the ends of the swaybar that should line up with the split or gap in the end of the rectangular link where the bolt is to tighten the link on the swaybar. This ensures both left and right side rectangular links are in the same orientation to one another on the swaybar.
It can be a bit of a bear getting the bolt back in the dog-bone shaped link with the swivel eyes to the swing arm. The weight needs to be off the front end of the sled too.
Cheers.
