I have the same light, although I think mine is a little narrower, and its very bright. I recommend it.

How are you guys hooking up the taillights? Is there a connector anywheres on the stock wire so that splicing of wires can be avoided. I always think that connectors look better and work better than splicing. I like the open look of the tunnel and that Knight riderz light looks nice.

I used some good quality 3M shrink connectors and had to splice it in, then covered them with some of that shrink wrap stuff. If you took your time and did it right, you could get everything under the tunnel so you wouldn't have anything visible.

Read about the light and it says that the light blinks when the brake is applied. Is there a way to just have it go on when brake is applied? or make it like the stock taillight where it is always lit but just has a bright and dim level

The non-sequential light is your plain running/brake light, it's a couple of bucks cheaper.207nytro said:Read about the light and it says that the light blinks when the brake is applied. I need to move mine because of the rear heat exchanger I am installing on my machine. If someone out there can post some pics of this modifaction I would like to see them. Maybe there is some pics on this site if someone could link me to them that would be great.
Thanks
Eric
Id like to hear and see more of your " rear heat exchanger " that your installing.
Here are the pics of the rear heat exchanger that I am installing in my Nytro XTX.

Thats a nice unit. Who did you get it from? Or who's the manufacturer?

Only held on with 3M tape??? I like the light but nervous the tape wouldn't hold in the cold.

I didn't trust the 3m tape either, so I used some small zip ties also. But honestly I think the 3m tape would have held it on.
Very nice work on the coolers! That will be a big upgrade

Was looking around online tonight and some people said they installed LED lights on their sleds, but where LED lights run cooler it wasn't hot enough to melt the snow off the light. Anyone else have this problem?

I don't believe the stock light melts the snow off either does it?
Its not really an issue, the lights are bright enough to shine through the light snow that may build up on the light. When you stop at a stop sign, just wipe it off.

I ran a (metal) license plate on my RX1 MTN tunnel for 3 years and I needed to buy a new plate for my Nytro because I had to twist it off. I know there was a cooler down there but, I'd sled in -30. I'd install it and check it occasionally. Also bond some plastic darts to it and use the old reflector holes, yup. Gonna have to try it cuz I need a rack on the back.sleddingfarmer said:I didn't trust the 3m tape either, so I used some small zip ties also. But honestly I think the 3m tape would have held it on.
