moving the rear skid

Has anyone tried to move the rear skid back some to try and get less of an aproach angle. i thought i seen a picture of someone doing it but now cant find it. any pictures or info on this would be appreiciated.

I am going to move mine back in a few days. Hoping for 1.5" and am sure an inch is possible. Going to have to buy shorter rail extentions because with 9 tooth drivers, I am at the front of my adjusment on the ones I have.
