Do most of you guys route the breather pointing at the coolant tanks like MPI suggests and have it spray oil mist all over that area?

Anyway to clean it up so its not constantly getting the electronics, brake, etc covered in spray? Its not bad after 1000 miles this sled has a film on everything that will easily clean up with some degreaser and a hose but seems like a wierd deal. Thanks!

Ted'll sell you a neat little box sorta thing that solves that issue - or you can just wipe it off or not - then you sled will look like mine

Note the oil spouge beneath the breather tube

I wrapped a small shop towel on mine. Should we take that plug out?? Wounder why they put it in?? Anyone???

Case Breather

Jannetty sells a kit for the RX's - like the guy with the Nytro did, aluminum box, lines, breather - return line.

We use the little blue automotive type filters (looks like 2" mini chrome K&N filters) for $10 - then wrap it with a micro fiber cloth cut down.

I use to use just a rag over the MPI insert and then covered that with a plastic baggy.

I routed the hose to the nose of the sled on the left side right beside the S/C oil tank - its alot easier to clean up there - just take the nose cone off and wipe it up, I leave a shop rag right under it and it soaks up most of the oil

I wrapped a towel around mine and routed it to the front of the sled no more oil. Sled doesn't use any oil in 1200-1500 miles either. So looks like I am good. Thanks for the tips!
