I see some guys say they have a 24 tooth sprocket on their superchargers. The gates catalog only shows 22, 26, then 30 tooth sprockets. Anyone know where I can get my hands on a 24?
Also, what sheeve is used? model #? they all look so similiar and my local gates dealer is as confused as I.
I've been calling MPI but it's always busy or some mom with a crying infant answers and takes a message. She finally told me yesterday that Al was no longer with the company and mack would call me back.

By bushing are you asking which taper lock fits?
Pulleys with 22-28 teeth take taper lock part # 1108 (then specify shaft size, 7/8" for crank gear and 3/4" for supercharger gear in stage 1 units).
Pulleys with 30-32 teeth take taper lock part # 1210 (then specify shaft size, 7/8" for crank gear and 3/4" for supercharger gear in stage 1 units).

Thanks srxspec!
Could I ask a dumb question? I tear up the belts, tops of cogs get lobbed off, probably because of the small sprocket and high rpm. If I switched to say two 26's or two 30's would i still have the same boost as with two 22's.

If you look at your belt can you see if it's wearing more on the front side or backside of the teeth?
My thoughts are that you need to add a blow off valve to keep the boost pressure from feeding back against the supercharger impeller when closing the throttle plates. I would look at adding a Turbo XS Type S Blow Off Valve or the equivalent.
Yes any two gears with the same teeth would work assuming the belt is the correct length to run those gears. The Stage 1 Apex/RX-1 models use a 600mm length belt and can be used with up to 26/24 pulleys (26/22, 24/24, etc will fit with this belt) where as the Vector Stage 1 uses a 640mm length belt and uses 30/22 pulleys.

I believe it wears the front side looking at my collection of old belt if i'm remembering if i installed the belt readable or not. So i would think that is on the throttle. I would like to get the valve though since i've got piano wire holding my fuel rack to the motor just to keep it from blowing off. Where do I get that valve? I'm just going to call you..... thanks
