MPI SC wiring question

Sled died on the way home, acted like it was out of fuel with 3/4 tank left.

Sure enough, after a tow home, no power to the fuel pump.

I traced the purple power wire back tp the MPI supplied circut breaker/relay above the RH footwell. Green wire has power to relay - no power to purple wire out. I put a jumper wire betwen the two and the sled starts right up.

My question - can I run/test with just the fuel pump powered up? I don't know what the other 3 (?) wires in this relay do?

I'm waiting for the replacment relay - I purchased a similar one from Ski Doo but it failed immediately (I'm hoping it was a lower amperage)

i had mine do this now i keep a peice of wire with me. if you put power to the + side of the pump from the + jumper this will back feed power to the relay once it is running remove the wire look in tank to make sure fuel is returning to the tank. at least you will not have to get towed out
i think the relays get moisture in them and freeze. also a good whack on the relay will works too but that requires removing the cover
