mpi supercharge ?'s

I have a friend that recently installed a MPI supercharger on his Attak GT. When we try to start it, it stips and spudders and throws code 84 / 15. I think that is a TORS fault. The sled almost acts like it has a fouled or multiply fouled plugs

1. What is the fault code 84 /15 telling us?
2. How do you clear the codes?
3. Where should we go from here?

you have to jump out the tors and clear the codes it is in the tech manual or I think there is a post telling you how to do that

You will always get the code (or i do) when you turn the key and the engine light will flash but when the sled starts up they go off. It is best to overide the tors it tells how to do it on mpi's instructions. Also i found the gems very touchy it has to be setup just right.

There is something causing this tors to kick in. You may want to make sure your throttle bodies are securely fastened. If they pop off it will cause tors to kick in and your sled will run very erratic just as you have explained.

bypass the tors ,
the pressure in the throttle bodies/ intercooler is`holding the buttertflies open for an instant, when you chop the throttle
add a blow off valve , re check cables for sticking, and go enjoy that ride!
