do you know exactly what kind of oil goes into the mpi supercharger, if i need to top off the tank or changed the oil

The recommended change interval is 2-years/50,000miles (Page-3)...and do not overfill...it will just spit out the vent when the supercharger gets hot...I topped mine off after the first ride (following Rotrex's instructions)...After that I got a little misting from the vent line but no big deal and haven't touched it since...a quart would last you a lifetime.

"Unoficially" (they didn't invite Guinness) the quad-turbo 1001hp Bugatti is now the worlds fastest "production" car. Although, the Ultimate Aero Twin Turbo tests this month and if it reaches the estimated 270+ mph. It will be back to the drawing board for the other supercar engineers if they want the title back. The Shelby Super Cars Ultimate Aero TT at 1183hp could blast all records. The testing is being conducted in the company's home state of Washington, August 2007, and is being validated by Guinness World Records.

Walk down to your local General Motors dealership. Go to parts and ask for a bottle of supercharger oil for a 98 Pontiac GTP. It cost about $15.00. A far bit cheaper than MPIs prices

If you had poured that $15.00 stuff you could have damaged your Rotrex supercharger or be wondering why its not operating properly. The Pontiac Eaton L67 twin-screw supercharger operates on a completely different principle with a completely different type fluid (gear oil). Traction fluid is similar to but not identical to transmission fluid. The Rotrex supercharger operates on the friction properties and the shearing force of its internal fluid. The traction fluid has been specially developed to meet very specific and very tight tolerances.

HAMMER is right, the rotrex is driven just like a torque converter in an automatic car... this requires a very specific oil DO NOT cheap out on that oil guys!
As far as a twin screw... well mine is simply tapped on the engine's oil circuit with a restrictor. A different animal.
