That's the problem with those guys - no sense of humor!!!! Ranger Gord always takes his duties way too seriously.

Actually the race muffler is not that loud and I have been followed for miles and pulled over by the local "MAN" in the Yooper and never any mention of the exhaust.

Same thing here! I feel angry about this, not yamaha problem , not MPI problem.... My sled is a yamaha viper whit MPI turbo on! Rubing or and melting a bit put heat shield tape and after it make its place ,its ok !
BUT id like better my muffler to be chrome than smash whit a hammer " to make it fit". Its a YAMAHA # number so it should fit PERFECT i think!
