If you aren't planning on replacing the rear skid it is worth the $50 IMO. I did the mod to my 2003 RX1Mtn and I thought that it helped deep snow performance. I did not set it to give me any ski lift on acceleration on hardpack, just enough to lift the nose up in the deep stuff when I hit the gas.

You will for sure get more ski lift If you can find someone in your area that has one they are VERY easy to make yourself

My bad - I didn't specify - mine was a mountain (151) too. I'll edit my first post.

I used the the setup on my 03 as well.
It did transfer weight a little better but it seemed that just maybe my track ratcheting got worse.
For $50 it's a pretty good bargain if you consider the included weight loss benefits.
Best of luck

I put extroverts on when I did the transfer kit, so I can't say as to whether the kit would cause ratcheting on stock drivers. I used the wahl bros. extroverts and they worked great for me.

Cheap weight loss!
I have tried them out twice, but just on hard packed snow. It didn't give me any skif lift - was very dissapointed!
But that said I still have some adjustment to do before giving a final verdict. I will try to soften up the preload on the main spring in the skid frame. I also have the skid frame in the lowest holes on the drop brackets - this has made the sled very front heavy. I will put the skid frame back to the upper holes in the drop brackets.
My sled has OEM 151" track.
