mpi turbo to much boost

installed new mpi turbo kit thought I had it dialed in and know I can not get the boost under 7lbs and I live at 1000ft. Waste gate is held open before boost comes in and tried adjust bov to no avail. mabe need more clutching? gear 22/40 primary b/w/b 8fs loaded with 17.2, secondary 45 helix with w/w spring any ideas

you already got one of there new kits i take it if u lengthen the rod it will lower the pressure at which the actuator opens and does the sled have a boost controller?

I have the rod holding the waste gate open already should i go more

I do have there new kit easy to install like the tunnel dump and air box better than my mcx kit

yeah u can length the rod alittle at a time and u really need to run a boost controller such as a hallman they seem to work the best. thats great to hear about the kit

found problem bad map sensor, change guage have to turn the boost up
