So if I thread it in all the way that would increase the spring pressure on the actuator correct? So if I didn't have the manual boost controller then it would raise the boost? Then just adjust on the boost controller. I plan on setting it at 6 psi for now as my fuel system and compression is stock. After I try it out this year I would like to add some bigger injectors and add a map switch so I could pull some timing with my ignition module and change the map for a few extra pounds still with high compression on the fly.
Thats my thoughts exactly.

Threading your wastegate rod in all the way is going to cause high boost. Your Boost T will not lower the boost to desired 6lbs. Wastegate needs X pressure to actuate, your T is removing pressure going to the wastegate as you close it off which in turn will do nothing for lowering boost.
You have 3 options:
Leave the wastegate rod "loose" and use the Boost T to control wastegate signal.
You could turn the wastegate rod tighter (say 3-4lbs) then use the T to fine tune to 6 lbs.
Or you just leave the T open/remove it and control boost with the wastegate rod.
Unless I'm reading/understanding your plan wrong...

Exactly. When I shop tested the boost tee that s how it works. I have it set at 6 psi from the airbox and putting 4.5 on the waste gate. So there's a pressure drop over the controller.
This was new to me. I'll have this sled figured out in another couple years lol

If that's what you are after then most definitely do NOT screw it in tight.

Thanks. I'm going to just run it straight to waste gate no controller. If that's what you are after then most definitely do NOT screw it in tight.
I have ulmers pcv pti, bigger injectors and header. Pretty comfortable running 6 lbs all the time.
