Ok guys,
Excell header, under tunnel w/micron silencer
remove board trim and cut boards narrower and reinstalled trim
cut tunnel sides off from drop brackets back
raised rear bumper and flap up on tunnel
now I want to install a 162x16x2.5
can I remove the drop bracket and cut the bulge out off the bracket where the track would rub, then weld it back flat? Seems like that would give me the clearance that is needed end up with about a 1/8" bracket against the tunnel

I would opt for the brackets from CR Racing. I just put a set on, lost some lbs and the look cool. Not to mention they have a plate on them that supports the running board. Hopefully next week, I can work on the taper of said tunnel.
