I want to install the Muffin Works Riser kit on my 08 MTX. Will I have any issues with cables or wiring if I use their 6" with the 2" block adapter?? Muffin Works is not fimiliar with the MTX. Anyone know for sure?

you can re-route some of the cables under the dash to give you a little extra length. I was running a powermadd 6" riser with powermadds 3" pivot adapter for a while and ended up having to run a longer brake line. the throttle cable was just on the tight side but worked fine. Since you are going 8" vs. my 9" you may be able to get enough length from just re-routing the cables.
Not sure how muffin's riser sizes compare with powermadd's sizes but i am sure they are close as far as center to center dimensions are concerned
The only real problem i had was trying to get my snowmobile cover to fit over the spindles once i raised the bars.
Good luck
