I agree with WinterWolf here. Studs on the outside of the rails don't effect steering one bit, but they have a much greater impact on traction. 192 Megabites 1.575" outside the rails every other bar with not a scratch under the tunnel from hits. Matter of fact I left little room between the middle studs, just 3/8 of an inch each side of the middle tunnel saver and they haven't even hit that.
