engagement of the o/s/o spring should be very close to stk as it has the same preload as the stk spring 35 kg the only thing is there mite be some sag in your stk spring then the engagement will rise top rpm should run up to 10400-10500

orange/silver/orange spring
Well, I got to try out the spring and am not sure of what to think. It still only topped out around 10,100-10,200 rpm. It did seem to have more bottom end as I raced my buddy's f-7 (who normally beats me off the line) and I was able to get ahead of him sooner. Both he and my buddy with an '02 SRX passed me on a short lake, however, which has not happened before. Is there anything I can do to tweak this set up (weights, etc.)? Or do I need to bite the bullet and get a kit from the speedshop? I didn't want to go that route yet, as I'm not mechanically inclined. So, I'd have to have someone else install it (therefore costing me not only the price of the kit, but also installation fees.) :ORC

snowaddict,
I'm in Appleton and have installed the ECP, Evac, and HH clutch kit on my 05. Get the clutch kit from Matt and I will help you install it. I personnally don't feel there was any gain from the ECP/evac and it adds worry to your ride. Don't bash me guys this is only my speedo/seat of the pants dyno results. I installed the clutch kit a few weeks prior to the ECP and Evac and the clutch kit truely made a huge difference. My 05 seems slower since I installed the homemade evac, but it could be that I had to let a vector push the RX1 for about 5 miles. I think towing at slow speeds will glaze your clutch and belt in a hurry. I saw 136 on the speedo on a icy road, but on hard pack see between 115 and 118. If you want to install the ECP I would help you I also have a carb tiuner II for synching the carbs. Just let me know. I drink Bud light!!!!
