Holy cow Biggerhammer! How many miles do you ride per year? Your machine being an 06 , you must really ride alot to know to do all that .

Bigger Hammer, very nice sled. I like the way the hand guards and mirrors look. Those are nice clear pictures too. If you don't mind me asking, what make and model is the camera. Thanks.

Bluebelt, I actually only put on about 700 miles last year, purchased it about mid Febuary. All this waiting for snow has gotten my antsy, so I started working on the sled :drink: I came out of last season only planning on changing skis, installing handguards, studding, and possibly putting a clutch kit on it....

After reading various posts on here, I decided to put the marginal wheel kit, forthwheel kit, and anti-rub kit on because I was studding it, and to help with hyfax wear. I am not saying I think these are all nessesary if you stud, maybe with exception of the shock anti-rub kit. Put the skid plate on after I changed the oil and saw the cover that was on the bottom of the motor. Cover was already marked up from running in deep snow. I just feel a little safer with the skid plate on there.

I am far from being a snowmobile expert. I just made some observations last season, for example darting and pushing in corners, and then came on here to see what I could do about it. There are really a lot of helpful people on here.

Yakuza, I used a Nikon D70. These pictures are actually shrunk quite a bit from original, they are as big as Photobucket allows on a free account. I also reduced the quality some to help keep the file sizes a little smaller. Kind of a hobby.

Bump for this years mods

First up is the rear shock rebuilt and upgraded by Hygear:

more to come later this week or early next...

big hammer please let me know about your hygear shock,I am real close but still want more feedback .I live in holland so we probobly ride some of the same trails.please reply asap.thanks Dan

Will try to get a report on the shock as soon as I can, but work has been crazy so it might be a few weeks. Working lots of hours so I have the extra money for some nice mods this year, but it kind of kills the ride time.

Just a side note. The mods I did last year turned out really well. I am especially pleased with how the front handles and the clutching/regearing.

A couple more items came in recently. I recieved my airbox from Ulmer on Saturday. Today Santa came early, and in a big brown truck. He delivered this little shiny accessory :-o
