At night I can see sparks at the coils. I pulled my coils out of my
engine. and removed top covers looking down along side of
any of my coils all you see is a light show.
Is this ok . :?:

No this is not good.
Electricity always takes the path of Least resistance, could be there is moisture in the coils or cam covers, also could be that your plugs are fouled.
I would suggest you take the coils out and dry them very well then spray them with silicone spray and put die electric grease in the coils and on the boots.
change out your plugs and see what happens after that.

Before you get into a major project, change your plugs, and see if the arcing is gone.

If the sled is running well, and th plugs aren't fouled, get it warrantied pronto.
There's no telling if that could damage the CDI. Get it checked out!

I don't agree that that is *necessarily* a problem. If it is leaking THROUGH the boot, then it may be, but it is not uncommon for there to be static fireworks in that kind of spot. Just think about the kind of voltage that goes through the spark plug - when you are dealing with that high of voltage, there WILL be static buildup, which has nowhere to go but arc. Your TV does the same, but its static is bled off - even so, you can still feel it when you put your hand on it.
