I currently ride an 03 F7. I thought long and hard this spring about ordering either an Apex or an Attak. I decided not to since I have never rode either a Yamaha or a 4 stroke sled and didn't want to spend that much money and then be unhappy with the sled. Luckily, my neighbor got an Attak and since we just got a huge blizzard this week I ran into him while I was out riding yesterday. He was nice enough to let me take his brand new sled with less then 20 miles on it for a spin. I was VERY impressed. I love the riding position and I was extremely happy with the feel of the sled. I don't care how much heavier they are you really don't feel it. Just riding around it didn't feel any heavier than my F7. I tried jumping a few drifts with it and you could kind of notice the weight then, but not like I thought you would be able to. When it was in the air the front end felt a bit heavier and I don't think I would be able to throw it around the way that I would my F7, but it wasn't bad either. Not as bad as I thought it would be. Needless to say, Yamaha has made another convert. Now I just have to decide if I want to spend the money yet this year and try and find a dealer who's got an Attak left or just wait til next year.

You mean you guys didn't line them up? I thought that came naturally for most sledders. (including me!!) LOL!! ![Div20 ;)! ;)!](/styles/default/xenforo/smilies/div20.gif)

Thanks for the honest feedback hahler2. It is good to hear these kinds of comments from someone that currently doesn't own a Yamaha. Welcome to the site too.

Well we were just sitting around at the bar (I was drinking water cause I don't drink and ride) and he pulled in after I did. So I went out there and took the sled for a quick ride and he had gone back in the bar by the time I got back so we never had a chance to line em up. We will be doing it sometime in the near future though. Just from seat of the pants feel I don't think I'll be able to beat him either.
