Got to go by the dealer and start up my new Mtn. Light today. Man these things are sweet! I'm am stoked for the upcoming year on this thing, it'll be a blast.

The sound is pretty mean the way it is when you rev it up but an aftermarket Yoshi muffler or somwthing will be sweet!

Also, there are NO hooks on the bars...

Lucky! Im still waiting for my FX to come on. Hopefully it will only be another week and 1/2.
Thats kind of weird that the Canadian sleds are getting hooks but the American ones arent. I wonder whats up with that. The sleds all get made in the same factory in Japan, you'd think theyd all be the same.

I picked my mountain lite up tonight, No hooks. took the windshield off before I loaded it on my trailer. I ordered a different one from the yamaha website. :4STroke:

You aint kidding. I think it would look OK with the low windshield the FXs get but if you do a lot of powder riding and dont need the wind protection, you might be able to just ditch the windshield completely.

Unfortunately, as for a hood, the phazer doesn't really have one
"hood" its a compilation of plastic panels.

The windshield comes off pretty easy though

Picked up my phazer today, it's out sitting in the bed of my truck right now. This thing is sweet! And it sounds pretty darn good with the factory exhaust.

I can't wait to hear it when I get an aftermarket set-up on it.

I've allready removed about 10lbs, I bet a can get anther 25 off with the mods I've got planned. Maybe I'll even get one of MPI's lightweight batteries, that's good for another 10lbs

Anyone with red fx, want to trade plastic for white off a mountain lite, just to have something different? I want more bar rise too, will the cables and such reach. Could you stick a titanium silencer made by FMF off like an RMZ 450 on it instead of the car muffler. The pipe looks like the same diameter.
