My Nytro Mods

You did exactly what I did for under the seat storage in the spring. Unfortunatly mine is still in the cardboard stage. Just No time to finish yet. I'm making mine sealed so it will stay dry, just bendin a extra lip with the pan break and using thin door seal. Trying to decide on a latch, thinking of using the ones I use on truck boxs I make, glove friendly. I hope to have this finished just after New Year. Have snow and need to ride, just need to find someone to ride with, locally, getting tired of going out alone. Walked 7 miles once on my old polaris.

So far everything has stayed dry in the storage area. I think having my exhaust exit right below helps with that however. We will see how it does after a few more rides. That reminds me of an unexpected bonus of the exhaust. The ride I did was a prime day for tunnel icing. All but the very back of the tunnel stayed ice free. Total bonus deal.

Ok here are the pictures I promised of the new 4 degree steering relocate.

Here is the bottom bracket. It's the same one I made for the 6 degree relocate I just recut the bottom angle to 4 degrees. It has oiled brass bearings so no lube required.

Here is the top assembly. I used one of the spacers from the stock bottom bracket on the bottom bolt. There is also a filler piece of stanless bar stock to make up the gap at the top.

Here is what the side pieces look like.

Another angle.

This photo shows the new location. If you look close you can see the stock position based on the rubber gromet cut out for the shaft at the bottom and also where I cut it at the top for the 6 degree setup.

Can't wait to try it out!
