Thats what im sayin. I scrub my quad. I spray up under the fenders and get every little spec of dirt and mud out when I wash it. I have a high pressure hose and I spray all that stuff every time I ride and I have never had a problem with water. I have never gotten any in my air box, my belt housing or in anything else that has hurt anything. I know there are air inlets up there somewhere but I have never gotten water in any of em and I scrub and spray it all. You wont have a problem I always start my quad up right after washing it and let it warm up for a few minutes and have never had a problem.
I have friends who come over to wash their quads at my house just because I have such great water pressure at my hose. I DONT however, recommend the use of a pressure washer. Some people use em but I have never used one on anything with an engine. I have had many mechanics tell me not to because it can break seals and force water into places that you dont want it to go. Other than that though, spray away, you'll be fine...

I always use a pressure washer, but at a distace, and never directly on seals, gaskets, or boots. I did the same with my old race quads for years with no bad effects. You just gotta be careful, that's all.

alot of people use em.... Mine will cut a cement block in half and thats just too much for me to put on my quad. I find soap and water works just fine.

The one I use is the car wash....The tire cleaner does a great job, and I leave him the mud.
