Went for a little ride around on the back roads last night, 6-8" 's of snow. The ride is sweet, and I weigh 260 + a snow-sute. I had to open-er up a little here an there. I seen 86 mph, with about 8-10mi.'s on it so far. Thinking about going for a little longer ride today. Got to get it past that 20mi. + mark to see if it comes alive. If not I'm happy the way it is rght now. Thats all the MPH I need in a sled .

So how was todays Ride??
Did the runners from your original skis fit those mountain skis?

I'm not sure, the mountain ski's came with the stock carbides runners. But after running it this past Saturday on the back roads, I just might have to use the stock carbides. The plow-trucks around here like to plow the ditches. They don't leave much snow for the snowmobilers, just dirt. But then, I got out in the State/Federal Land on some two tracks, man it was sweet. No other snowmobile tracks, just mine. Zipping around the trails with the FX is just great. So far no heating problems. But then again I been running 50/50 gas( 110/94 octane ) a little pricey, but it burns alot cleaner then 94 octane.
