Hello!
I`m running a freerider track, with stock gearing on my fx.
And i hope to put on a Yamaha R1 pipe, and a schmidt bros cold air intake kit over the summer.
Alsow thinking about a clutch kit, but i don`t know if the schmidt bros or ulmer clutch kit is the way to go? any ups and downs?
and if i put this stuff on, will i need the fuel pressure regulator?
hope you guys can help me!
ps: sorry about the bad english,
Go Norway!

You don't need the fuel pressure regulator for any of the mods you have listed. I have the schmidt bros clutch kit( no fuel regulator), it improves low end slightly, but has a really sweet torquey spot between 11000-11500+. The air intake defintely improves throttle response. From what I've read the ulmer kit is good too. If you want to dump $1500 the hauck gyt-r- done kit is a great performer also.( includes twin pipes, fuel regulator, clutch kit, ) My uncle has this and his sled rips. All depends on how much you want to spend, you've started off well with the freeride track, that thing is awesome.

Schmidt kit come with a washer and rivets, Umler kit is a new spring and weights already installed. $90 for a washer and a few rivets is a rip off. Ulmers kit is worth the money. Get a Dynojet Power Commander rather than a fuel pressure regulator. Way more fun to play with. Excell motorsports makes some beautiful exhaust for the Phazer looks like it would be on a Porche or Ferrari rather than a Dodge Neon bump'n thru the hood.
