Hey guys I am doing a swap from stock ripsaw to a backcountry as well as putting in some extroverts from an 11' rtx. I have about 4500 miles on the sled and I have seen some advice that when doing a swap its a good idea to keep on the maintenance and replace some bearings or other parts. I have done a bit of searching and i cant really find any specifics on which ones and what i need to buy with them like seals etc. I found one bearing that looks to be the clutch side bearing (93306-20589-00) on the Yamaha track drive 1 specs. Any help or part #'s or links to anything would be great! Thanks guys!!!

www.allballsracing.com sells complete driveshaft and jackshaft bearing kits with all necessary seals.
Both I and all of my riding buddies have used those bearings. Works good

So i checked out that site and i was going to call in and see if they could help me find the right parts / kits but it looks like its an email only company. What would be the best source for finding which bearing kits i should order for the driveshaft and jackshaft?

They have a model search on the left side of the website, enter all the info about your sled that's required then it will give you the 2 different kits one kit for the jackshaft and one for the driveshaft
14-1059 is the part number for the driveshaft kit
14-1060 is the part number for the jackshaft kit

How big of drivers are you putting in? If 9 tooth, gear down a tooth or 2. if 8 or 7 tooth those would gear you down enough to not have to change gearing. Use the gearing calculator in the faq section to look at different ratios for gearing, with the backcountry track you won't see above 96mph running WFO, so you want your gear ratio to match you absolute top speed. That will give you the best mix of acceleration and top speed available603NytroXTX said:Wow I am an idiot![]()

Yah I have a 9 tooth extro driveshaft from a 11' RTX and I am actually talking to Ulmer right now about gearing and clutching. I think he suggested going to a 20 tooth on a different forum topic. Pretty much open to anything at this point.

20 tooth top gear is what I have and it has a ton of power to the track for a n/a, stock internal parts sled. It will keep up with any 800cc class sled till about 60-70mph.
But I have k&n's, full exhaust, pc5 w/autotune , 20 tooth top gear and Ulmer clutching. So I'm theoretically putting down about the same amount of hp as a Polaris pro 800

Thats an awesome setup you have going. I am more concerned about the low end torque and acceleration because as we all know the Nytro just doesnt have the legs so why try to make it something that its not. One of my buddies has a very modded 600 h.o. rev that I need to make sure i can beat but other than that im not worried about the lake racing 800's.

That's why you gear down to the 20 tooth, or even 19 tooth, 0-85 is a riot, and a 600 etec or any other 600 for that matter doesn't stand a chance, 2years in a row now my nytro has won the 600 class 1000ft drag races here during our annual carnival. There was at least one 600 of every brand and quite a few etecs that competed this year, and i beat them all... Badly. Two years ago I swept all classes, kinda surprised everyone that year
