For the mid mount kit, they had to cut and plastic weld the stock tank to accomodate the turbo.
Mine leaks and has been repaired twice so I'm fed up and will have to wait.
Unfortunately Trail Tank is still in the process of moulding tanks for us midmount guys.

Although I did pick up an 01 Summit today I could use if I had too.
We don't have any damn snow here anyways.

Didn't realize yout turbo was in a different location, oops! I certainly wouldn't be chancing a leaky fuel tank near a glowing turbo. I hear ya on the no snow.

I mounted the tank in the nose and the pump inside the front bulkhead. Bought a 1 1/2 quart tank. also mounted a remote fill resevour under the hood up by the steering column. All good. injectors on bottom side of boots, but they blow out at around 15 lbs boost. I need to rework th injector mountings.

Here's where I mounted my pump. I cut a base for the pump out of an old license plate. It seems pretty sturdy there. I just replaced the one plastic fastener to a bolt/nut on the underside of the belly plastic.
I've got Dave at Hurricane making me up an aluminum tank which completely fills the whole nose cone.
We will see soon what the total capacity will be.
RX1GoTurbo, I hope you haven't damaged your engine with your nozzle popping out. That would suck!

I thought the nozzles mounted in the intercooler. Anyone put any in an MCX intercooler?

Ideally the nozzles are supposed to install in the intercooler.

347strokin you may want to reconsider moving your intake location for two reasons, you'll get much better and consistent performance out from under the hood (personal experience taught me) and I think you would have an issue with belt dust plugging the filter in its current location. If it were mounted out from under the hood the filter will last almost indefinitely.

Lol, that's funny. I've actually made the situation worse to accomodate more meth/H20 capacity.
I shortened up the air intake and I am now going to have one meth tank above the belt guard that connects to a second tank in the nose cone.
I don't want to have to worry about my meth/H20 levels before my Trail Tank is empty from hard riding.
I've never worked with intake tubing before but let me know any suggestions about where I can plumb it alternatively. Thanks.

I also wanted to give a big THANKS to Dave at Hurricane Racing. I've probably emailed/called 12 times trying to get my setup right for what I want.
He's patient and very knowledgeable. He can also do custom fabrication which is what I'm getting done with my aluminum tanks.

I will post pics of the install process and final product when complete and hopefully some ride reviews if we ever get snow here.
If not it's off to McBride late December.

here are some pic's that might give you an idea as to what you can do. Formed Radiator hose for trucks works pretty well to get yoiu through the hood and is flexible and adds shock absorbtion. Just cut bends that you want out the piece. Relatively inexpensive also.

That looks fairly simple. I'll have to check out some rad hose.

There you go,
Nice job, your sled will love you for it
I never did have to change my filter or my prefilter in the 3-yrs I had my Vector.
OBTW, are you using the silicon impregnated prefilter? If not you need to get one it will repell moisture where as the std prefilter will let it pass through.

It says K&N Snowcharger on it so I'm thinking it might be the one?
Thanks.
Thanks.
