TY 4 Stroke Master
TORS senses if someone is pushing the throttle. If you watch the pivot point there is some play and as soon as you push the throttle the whole lever slides a bit and hits a sensor. The manual explains how to test the system by holding the pivot point and pushing the throttle (your RPMs should be limited). If the cable was stuck and there was no pressure on the throttle lever (rider fell off) the sensor would know that and keep RPMs at a safe limit.

Any ideas?[/quote]
All the snow you had packed in the throttle lever was causing your TORS to activate. Fairly confident on that!

Anyone have a picture ?i just unhooked mine since it was causing a pain in #*$&@ with my taller riser....takes two minutes to bypass.
its in your manual.
TORS Disconnect
1. Remove top panel
2. Open up the big rubber boot containing multiple connectors
3. Find the black connector and white connector, each have only one wire coming into each end. Disconnect them.
4. Connect the black with the white on the side coming from the engine compartment. Leave the black and white unconnected on the side coming from the throttle.
