If you still have an issue, Ill be in St Paul Tues through Friday. I have installed many of these conversion kits. Won't be a problem. Just PM me and send me your info.

That's the right sheave. Instead of tapping it in try pressing it in with a small C clamp.

A little off topic but, when I put my kit in, I also cleaned the primary and secondary sheaves. Now would be a good time to do yours (the big discs). Secondary is easy because you take it apart.
I used HOT soapy water and fine sanding block that was made of a spongy material. Got it at Home Depot I think. Just make sure you sand perpendicular to the belt and you don't need to go nuts sanding it.

Just an update to all.
I used a small rat tail file this morning to open up the bore on the mounting holes. Took all of 30 seconds and the bushings slipped right in.
I also took the time to clean the primary like suggested and will do the secondary next.
Thanks to all that chimed in and offered there suggestions, expertise and help. All was appreciated.
Happy new year and safe riding to all.
