need help with shock problem

went to the yama dealer today to get a retainer washer for front shock ,they tell me I have to buy the whole shock what a f-up deal,does any one now where I can get one. thanks

i got some off of some old doo shocks. i had to mod the opening a little with mr dremal. as the yamaha shocks have a little larger shaft size.

Try Pioneer Performance. If it's what I think it is, I got one from them for one of my rear shocks...Was like $5.

Have you found your part yet, I had the same problem, had to buy a set of shocks off ebay to get the retaining ring, tell me what part you need exactly, I can help you out!
