06 RTX, the control rod in the rear suspension came apart (unthreaded itself) and now the pieces are worn badly from the track rubbing, needs replacing. My question is can u ride without the entire control rod in place?? I thought I read on here some one taking it out cause they didn't really need it. I supposed to leave for canada on wed and the dealer cant get to it until Tues and they wont have the parts anyways. Any help would be appreciated!!!!

Yes. You can ride without it. You will have a lot of weight transfer so be carefull coming out of corners. Parts are about $300.
