I guys i am thinking about buying a 05 rage with this rear suspension. I really know nothing about Yamaha suspension's because i ride Polaris. The suspension that is in the rage is the Mono-Shock RA HX46 rear suspension (with Remote Adjust, Adj. Control Rod, 11.5 in. travel). Is this the same suspension with the turn dial on the side? I really don't know if this is good or bad. I read on here that there maybe issues with track noise and premature Hy-fax wear on this sled. what other good points and bad points about this sled.
thanks for all your help,
Jeff

Its a good suspension with m10 ride and good transfer. Not nearly as durable as an expertx, but probably less of a headache than a poo skid like you're used to.

There are some issues with the cable going to the dial coming off, the 05 monoshock is not real good for high mileage guys, it does require some service work, the 06's were much improved. Its still probably the best suspension yamaha has put out, M10 ride, great transfer, and it only weighs 56lbs (for the 121, not sure about the 136 in the rage).

That's what I was thinking, but maybe someone changed it out??? The 05 Rage was still the 136" ProAction like the Warrior, right?? Or was it the CK like the 05 Venture??

Thanks for all the reply's, still not sure if i want to buy this sled. It would be better to be able to test ride one. The person selling this sled wants $2900.00 for it. I know it could be a great buy, for the price. Just not sure about the suspension. I know the 136" track will help. Thanks for your help.

the sled was in wisconsin the guy moved to Louisiana and took the sled with him. it has 940 miles on it. he is willing to pay the shipping to ship it to my address. It seems almost to good to be true. so I am very caucious about this.

Better be real careful with this. Smells an awful lot like another ebay scam. I love it when I see these too good to be true prices and the guy is in Georgia, Arizona and now Louisiana?

Price is to good to be true. They are selling for $4500.00 to $5500.00 and to ship a sled is not cheap. I would not be sending him any money. Like mentioned above sounds like a scam. Buyer beware!
PS. 05 Rage had a Proactive skid not a Mono.

I would be driving there with cash in hand. No way I'd trust shipping that kind of $$$$.

There have been alot of sleds on e-bay with scams. If it sounds to good to be true it probably is. I have checked on a few myself with no replys.
