Is it just me or does the search feature here on the 4 Stroke site suck?

Just purchased an '09 FX Nytro RTX SE with 1400 miles from Ronnie's in Adams, MA. Thanks Stacie!

Need some help finding a shop manual and the correct suspension set-up.

I am around 200 lbs. in gear and ride both on and off the trail. 75% on 25% ditch banging. So...it needs to turn and not push thru the corners. I have a Viper that I have turned into a turning and handling machine, so I'd like to get that all and more with the Nytro. Am I nuts?

Thanks in advance!

Dave

manual is in the stiky at the top. u are nuts trying to make the nytro turn like a viper, i know ive tried to do it. Motor in this sled is awesome, enjoy it

I see the link for the '08, have to get it on my regular computer (zipped). Will it have the 09 Fox Float info?

Thanks,
Dave

No it wont have the info on the floats, if they are the basic floats like mine dont have your heart set on cornering, i use them cause they can take the hits i put them through, tough shocks, but tough on the back too after a hard day. If you want to corner i would look for the stock GYTR shocks.

I have the Fox X with the extra reservoir. I can't believe that there isn't a set up for this sled to get it to turn. Someone has to have figured it out?

Dave

ride height is too high to get it to turn well. there is a link to lower the front end. i believe it is the JRE trail king pakage is the title. may want to look into that to help it turn better. id ride it before you condem its turning capability, or bash us for not giving you a setup....... every sled is different and shock are different. ul have to take a weekend to dial it in.

Start tinkering, you can get it to turn but its not a old school trailing arm sled. Start reading the forum it will help you a ton. Service manual is in the sticky section. There is a suspension set up section too, that will help u a lot. Doest matter the year either nothing has changed with the shocks over the years, just minor differences between models that's it. Good luck
