Have you checked all the bearings in the skid? Bad bearing do alot on top end.

speed
Sec spring was wound @ 6-2 I then wound to 6-3 gained a little speed but not the 15-18 mph I lost...I have new springs ordered o-s-o priand silver sec the bearings in skid are all perfect..clutches are not hot to touch but fairly warm after WOT run Hopefully the spring change will get me back to 155-120 on the dream meter
