Need pics of a BOSS seat on a Nytro

Well it appears my only flaw with my Nytro is my seat ripping. I have 3 rips in my seat that are beyond easy repairs. I priced a new seat today from my dealer, and he quoted me around $400. I figure if I'm gonna replace my seat, it should as well be a aftermarket seat. Why buy a seat that I know will have to be replaced again.

Now over the years I've seen and heard good things about BOSS seats. Have any of you bought a BOSS seat for your Nytro, and if so do you have pictures of it??

as far as i know boss has not made one yet. after the sled being on the snow for the third season (late 07 prepro units were available for testing), boss is behind the ball on this. mostly i'll bet due to the cat contract, and the nytro seat being so light from the get go. plus boss hasent updated their website (or customer service for that matter) since 07

Seat Cover?

I thinks Skinz makes a seat cover for the nytro. That may be a cheaper alternative.

Mine was covered under warranty. Also my riding buddy might have a blue one for sale if you want a good used one.

I love the SkinZ one on mine! I looked at Boss, and contacted them. You would have to go with an under tunnel exhaust to get a storage style to work they said.

My Nytro has been out of warranty since december. Plus with 5300 miles, I doubt Yamaha will cover it. I'll check out Skinz. Or If your buddy is serious about selling, perhapes we could talk.

Mine is pretty tore up after 5000 miles. Dealer said it would be under warranty. Im glad I have a good dealer and took out the Y.E.S. warranty. It has saved me thousands in broken parts.

Moutain Mod seat is great highly recommend it if your tall its worth a couple of inches of height and alot of comfort

How does it look on a Nytro RTX?? I saw those seats and would buy one depending how they look. Was there any problems with the heat under the seat?? Please post a picture of your seat on the Nytro for me. Thanks

on a mtx, just delete the tunnel extension, thats how it will look on a shorty. ski

that boss seat looks like it has an under tunnel exhaust, mountainmod has a seat that you can still use the stock exhaust

but the huge bonus is you get a LARGE storage compartment in the seat with the under tunnel option.

they look great, I think I might get that seat next season, I usually wear a pack so I don't need the extra storage. I like the idea of the 2inch rise. One thing I must say is that my seat has not cracked yet, I have 2000k and the temps here are average -20 to -40. I do store my sled in a heated garage though. How do you like the seat.

Is the under tunnel exhuast a mod to the original or complete Can and midpipe?
