I know there are a lot of people that are going to the trail tank for their Nytro, but I would really like to see Boss come up with a tanker option for our sled. Skyboz had a tanker seat on his old AC, and it worked out so good! In my opinion, you would get a great seat, added fuel (Maybe 2 gallons), and possibly a small storage compartment. This could accompany an under tunnel exhaust and make one hell of a sled!

I would think that there would be a lot of people interested in it....

What does this seat look like? Interested, since I put on the trail tank. Any pics? Does this style of seat stick with the rider forward feel? Thank for the help

Sounds like a great idea to me.

I'm curious why Yamaha didn't go with an under tunnel exhaust. Is there some sort of draw back to it that I'm not thinking about?

I've been hearing too many negative reviews lately about Boss's products and in particular their customer service, or lack thereof.

I'd definitely go with Mountain Mod is they'd produce one.

I guess to clarify....it doesn't have to be Boss, just someone to make one.

But...maybe the guys from Boss should clean up their act to improve their customer service. I know they make a great product, but I didn't know about the customer service aspect of it.

I don't see the need since the Trail Tank works fine and all the gas is in one place and more centered on the chassis. I like that I don't have additional plumbing to deal with.

I've got a BOSS seat on my Vector and it is very light and rides nice but the quality did not completely impress me. Especially for the money they charge.

Boss said to check back with them later in the year. They will have a new Nytro seat coming out. Took them a say to get back to me. If someone is looking for a guy to make a storage type, we should talk to one of the members in the mountain section. There was a guy about a month ago who came up with a sweet looking new seat for their sleds. I will have to do a search to find the member.

Motleyone is the seat fabricator, and author of the tread
