alright long story short i love my phazer but im sick of the problems. dont want to talk about it.
i am going to the dealer soon to trade this sled in, im having a tough time deciding whether or not to get the rhino or a xtx. i love snowmobiling, but im very scared in buying a new yamaha again.
so, do you guys think that it would be worth it to get a xtx? im seriously very close to getting a cat or ski doo. im sick of yamaha and their bullcrap with the phazer. i want the yamaha reliabilty that i had in all my other yamaha's beside the phazer. am i going to get reliability with the xtx do you think?

Yamaha is the best of the group , a Cat or Skidoo would be more grief.

yea thats what i thought, before i bought the phazer. i have lost all hope with yamaha's new sleds.
i think im going to get the rhino and pick up a used cat new season, i would hate to leave yamaha, and leave the 4 stroke but i dont want to be let down by yamaha again if i dump another 6k toward a sled.

problems ive seen with my buddies firecat. junk shocks they were blown after the first ride, sled is constanly backfireing and blowing the pipe off and losing spings, power valve bolts fall out, rails are eged out even with threw bolts still lossened up, every idler wheel delaminated, spings are also junk. there was more i just cant remeber. his zrt was another whole list.

8,250 miles on an'04 Firecat F7 for me in 2 years, and I lost one idler wheel. That's it. I always had good reliability with my Cats. No better or worse with Yamaha.

im sick of paying top $$$ and not having a sled to ride half the time.
im really debating over a xtx or just buying an old school sled that has already been proven.

Go buy an older, used sled then. I'm sure it will prove to be more reliable......... ahem.

Just rode the new XTX in W. Yellowstone along with seeing all the 2009 models. DO yourself a favor and ride the XTX, I think you will be very impressed, I know I was!!!
