Trying to get the back bottom bracket attached to the rails with the grease zerk out. Problem is the shaft inside spins and the bolt doesn't come out when the other one is loose. That grease zerk is leaking and I'd like to get it welded. Any recommendations?

If you have a mig welder, just clean the area with brake cleaner, blow dry and weld the bottom of the fitting right on the sled! Spray paint Argent Sliver
(wheel color) and you are done. The only problem that I've had is that the ball inside the fitting does'nt seal very well so I put a rubber cap on the grease fitting to keep grease in and water out.
NOTE !!! Brake cleaner is FLAMABLE!!!!!!!!!!!. Dry the area and have a fire extinguisher ready.

Try an air wench????? Use JB Weld on fitting, it seals it fine. I used it on mine. Clean area well and apply weld around fitting.

Don't have a welder, wanted to take it in to the dealer without taking the whole sled in. Air wrench won't do me anygood, the shaft is spinning inside the tube. Would like to JB Weld it, but the garage floor doesn't get that warm to help the curing process.

I would find a warm place to JB weld. Worked excelent and took about 15 min. You would have to read the direction's but i think it will work in the cold, Just takes longer to cure. That stuff realy amazes me. kviper

I'll probably have to take it into the dealer and let it sit inside. I was hoping to remove the piece and JB Weld it myself. I know the garage floor simply won't get warm enough for that stuff to cure.
