I have an Attak GT with a backcountry 1.75" track and are wondering if there are any negative effects of doing a skid relocation/setback?

Does it get nose heavy?
Hard to turn?
Balance in the deep snow or trail?
Suspension issues?
Less worth on the aftermarket?

I am thinking of doing a relocation with a challenger 16" x 144" x 2"
to get better snow floatation and less trenching, so I would also appreciate any comments on positive effects.

I really like this sled but would want some better crossover capabilities.
I have search the forum but have not found any answers regarding the negative effects after a setback.

Thanks for any replys and thank you all for making this a great forum!

Thanks for your reply APEX 06, what convinced you to do the setback/relocation?
As I understand you have not had the chance to ride it yet?

Any other out there with experience of this modification?

The attack anlge was the bigest thing for me. and that I only had to use 7" railext. over useing 11" ones. Tom Hartmann was also a big help HE TOLD ME that having 11'' railext could ben easyer. Give him a Call he has all the things u need (208)468-1073.

O his prices are not that bad and it all looks good to.
