Which one should I buy? I don't want to spend any extra for re-valve...don't mind a ski upgrade but probably throw on my Kimpex Arrows and big Carbide. Does the standard Apex rail corners? I rid groomed trails 90% of the time.

I faced the same dilemma when I purchased my standard Apex. I had read of a few issues where the air shock in the rear suspension would leak out air and require constant monitoring. I didn't want to deal with that, especially when there is only one shock in the rear...that shock loses all it's air and you're walking out of the bush.
Go with the standard, it rails just great. I'm putting my Arrows on it for this season too.

Yes, standard seems to be the pick of most.

Yeah Grimm...I spent 3 seasons dialing in my 07 Nytro and like it now but I want to upgrade and don't feel like spending the time or money dialing in the upgraded shocks???? That sounds funny...spend extra $$ making the upgrade work properly?

In in the minority who'd hands down get the SE. Or else get the std version and put floats at least in the front.

I'm very happy with my choice of the SE. I chose it because I got tired of messing with the preload springs. The air pump is much easier; even when lying on my back with the Mega. I have 3200 miles on mine in two seasons and have yet to experience any problems. Damage can occur on anything, therefore it's a mute point to "what if" things. Even with all the ice build up in the mono skid, my Megafloat still looks new. I did have mine refreshed this summer, but that's something I do regardless after two seasons of riding. The ride comfort is much better than what I had in 7000 miles on my Attak. I like the infinite number of pressures that can be run on both the front and rear suspension.
The advantage to you is that both sleds ride great, therefore going with the standard Apex will save you a load of cash. If I had to do it over again, I'd still choose the SE; I like the shocks that much more.

I think it's just the air shocks?
