Just bought an 06 Apex RTX for myself and an 08 phazer GT for my wife.
Here is a couple pics of the sleds and a pic of me messing around in the backyard.

Have fun on the new toys. The 06 apex looks clean. How does the wife like the phazer? My wife rides a new 07 phazer. Just got it this year.

she really likes the phazer, it has the tall windy like yours which she really likes. She likes the phazer alot better than my apex for the wind resistancy factor as well as she thinks the apex has way too much power.

For a first time sledder she is catching on fast and she honks right along down through the trails about 50-55....which is pretty good for a first timer already.

Its too bad though that she only has logged about 150 miles on a brand new sled, as well as being a first time sledder and she is already asking me why it feels like its "swaying" all over the trail. I told her well be fixing the "darting" problem this summer.

Had same darting on hers somewhat. Called Scott Bergstrom and added 6 inch tripel points shims, ski savers, and some plastic pads that screw onto the bottom of the skis. WOW no more darting rails in the corners and turns easy. Used same on my 08 apexltxgt but with 8 inch bars.

Yes the sleds steer easily and the plastic pads hold the snow under the skis and help lift the front in deep snow. Big help on the apex.

Added the same on my Phazer, worked nicely
I think the shims do most of the fixing, but the plastic "pads" work well too
help with lateral grip(almost like a trihull boat)
