Hey folks!
I traded off the Vector and bought an attak. I plan a charger/ 144 X2 track/ floats....whatever else MPI has for me this year. With the help of Rexburg Motor on top of all that it's look'n good.
I will have some more specs and pics later in the forum.
I plan to jump that attak....as far as possible (which is semi difficult becuase of weight issues!)..... and still be able to climb with the best of them.
...like a said pics and details as it happens.
I will also have a dyno of the sled before supercharging and after super charging through the Rexburg Motor sports Flow dyno.
Here link to last years Vector that Rexburg Motor put together: www.ty4stroke.com/viewtopic.php?t=7021&highlight=
You can see last years Vector in action on Alticity 5 (buy it here www.alticity.com).
Hope the attak is MUCh better than the Apex! I rode nd filmed the APex last year and was FAR better than the Vector in everyway. I even jumped the Apex prototype about 60 feet and it was incredibly sweet..... :

Hey alt-vector glad you got the attak, thats what i got as well and i added the fox floats because my son has the rtx and he thinks the floats will be preety good and i think they will too. Hope you can add some pics or vids of you jumping your attak,as i will let my little buddy try jumping mine,he weighs in at 145# dry and me around 215# dry and he jumps all the time dirt bikes 4- wheelers and sleds,he lives for it sorta, plus he got the apex GT but i think he may like the fox better when he airs it out on the big ones 50-70 ft. plus and he wants to do a back flip on his GT that would be real cool.

The Floats are sweet. You better order them ASAP. Fox is DONE producing them and onlt distributers have them. Once the distribs are out.....Fox says they are not producing anymore for awhile.
I had them (the floats) on the Vector last year. One benifit that I didn't expect was the the way they actually lifted the sled up in the front quite a bit. The a-arms were angled up after I installed them!!
You'll be really happy with the floats. Good to hear you'll air it out! Just makes ya feel good to do it on a Yammy. It is possible!!!!
A backslip would be sweet! Althoughthat would be the last sled I would want to land on him!! HEAVY!!!
I went over 100ft on the Vector a couple of times. I want to so allot better on the attack.
I'll post pics ect. as things progress.
####EDIT###
I forgot to post these pics from last year from another link. This is the Vector in action and ....not in action!

Anyone wonder why Fox is going to stop making the "floats"? HMMM...

You can use any of the pics on a desktop...just buy some Alticity stuff from those guys to support thier cause!!
Fox isn't making any more floats because they are MAXED out. Everything is called for from the distribs from what I understand. They held up really well and were the best pair of shocks I have ever had.
Forgot about the video. Go here: www.alticity.com/videos.aspx
Click on "Video Galery" and you'll have the options to view there.. Make sure you pop-off protectors are off!!! When you slide you mouse over thumbnails different titles will come up. Anything with "vector" or "brad in Powder" is last year's Vector. The sound is delayed on the video BUT YOU CAN HEAR THE VECTOR IN ALL IT'S YOSHIMURA GLORY!!!
....I'll get pics of the Attak soon...
Thanks
McDunna

I've watched Alticity5 about 6 times now. The first time I saw it, I was pleasently surprised to see a 4 stroke in it, and jumping! Awesome. Boondockers RX1 turbo is just plain fricken NASTY. I get a chubby everytime I hear that thing climbing.
Later, Sxrlar.

Sweet. Good to hear that you like Alticity!
We should have an EVEN BETTER four stroke segment in Alticity 6. We should have tape of the supercharger installed. And a better more explosive 4-stroke segment in the new vid.

The attack is incredible!! The suspenionis very well designed and has HUGE travel.. The shock is way soft for what I am doing but the travel....man it's insane.
I got the floats on toinight. Here's some info for you guys>>>
The float the Yamaha has for the Apex is short or at least stock length. If you get an M7 or other longer length model (something just over 17" stacok float is 15") you can get ALLOT more travel in the front IF YOU remove the sway bar to do this. I think I gained 2 1/2 " in the front of travel and the nose is up considerably. See the pic below of the front of the sled. Check the angle on the a-arms comparded to a stock shock angle and length!!!
I went with a little over an 8" riser on the bars. I thought for sure I would have to get extended throttle and brake. Not the case!!! A reroute and removal and wall-hah!!! that Really surprised me.
A 2" track WILL rub on the rear bar that is on the back of the heat exchager. I have a 144" and it hits in the reaer just before the cooler wraps arounds across the back of the tunnel. This can be easlity cured and I am on it. :?
I painted the attack with Krylon paint on the sides.
The boys at Rexburg Motor have been hard at it getting parts and putting the beast together.!!!
Blower this week, i hope. I'll post pics of that and results.

Great pics. That sled spends more time in the air than on the snow. LOL
