Just added a new set of Fly ATV bars and Powermadd 6" riser. Also, gave in and finally just removed all the bar accessories since I don't have a light pod anyway. The Fly bars I bought are awesome if anyone is looking.....anodized blue aluminum looks very nice and only cost $30. They are 7/8" inch mounts so no adapters required and they have a little less depth than my stock 03' bars did.

looks sweet Trxster do you not have any guages for it or are you going to mount the stock pod back on your bars?

I don't know. The last few times I rode I had taken it all off because I broke some of the plastic in a roll. I found out that I really liked the feeling of riding without that stuff in front of me and really dont need my gauge since I ride with 2 strokers (when they run out I can ride for a few hours and tow em home:). We'll see. Regardless, I would recommend the bars to anyone looking and the 6" riser puts these things right where they want to be when I stand up and ride. Feels like my dirtbike.

Cool so are you going to turbo that beast or what ?do you have a side shot of the sled with the bars mounted on it?what else are you going to do to it for a summer project?

I don't think I am going to turbo it. Just can't seem to convince myself to drop the $5k but I might add a 50hp Boss Noss this winter. Most of the time the engine is puting out enough for me to have fun. There are only a few climbs where it would be nice to have a little extra but I am not so extreme as to need 300hp. This summer I ripped her apart and put a 162" track, M7 skid, and tunnel extension. I'll take a side pix if I can. Can't wait for snow.

So where do you manly ride and what style .i just bought a new apex but i dont get it until september but i think im giong to light weight it a bit with some new skid arms and lower a arms . i want to either sc it or put a front mount on it at the end of this season but well see.

I mostly ride Mt Baker.....pretty cool terrain and only 5 minutes from my RV property. I have made it up to Revy last year and plan to do so again this year a few times. That Apex sure looks sweet. Can't wait to see the SC models running around.

ya THEY DO LOOK GOOD . i think i will be happy with it being semi stock for a season lol .but it is going to go on a bit of a diet.yes it will be intresting to see how the apex with a sc or a turbo will do compared against a racers edge rx1 or some other complete mod.so what all do you have done to that sweet sled of yours>

Im suprised alot of you guys arent goin get the whole bars and mounts off the vector mnt SE

Well, like I said. I went riding this winter with a friend on a full tank. Rode for about 5 hours in powder till we were waisted. Got back to the truck and a couple of other buddies were just showing up. So, loaded my sled on thier trailer and went to do some bigger riding (they were full at that point and I did not refill mine). Rode another 4-5 hours this time in real deep powder with real big climbs (WOT alot). Got back to the truck and had 3/8 of a tank which was more than they had in theirs from just the one ride. So, when my buddies run out, it is time to hook em up and tow them home so I don't run out.

Here is a pix for you from the side...I put the headlight pod and windshield back on just to see how it fit. The powermadd guards just clear the windshield.
