Pretty cool - do you have it installed in your sled, how is she running?

Did you get her out yet Mike? Wonder what you thought between this and your last sled?

Not sure about cost yet. I know the price point should be pretty nice though.

Sheet,
Haven't gotten it out yet. I think it's going to be up in Muni this weekend but unfortunately I can't make it. Hopefully I'll know more after this weekend.

Any pics of the apex kit?

Playing around in the grass last weekend, making some fuel changes and seeing how well it compensates for the warm weather. This is only part throttle, and with it set to about 6psi. 10psi was nothing but dirt rooster tails...

The video was taken on an Iphone, and for some reason, the blower whine does seem more noticeable in the video than it does in person.
The intake and charge plenums are carbon fiber, and on this sled, it still has an earlier version that is only 2 layers thick, which does tend to resonate a little more of the blower whine as well. Production pieces use between 3-6 layers in various areas as needed for re-enforcements, and do run quieter.
Automotive kits all use a cast aluminum manifold to attach the blowers, and a bulky cast aluminum manifold isn't feasable on a sled, so huge ammounts of time has been spent testing various intake shapes, core materials within the laminates, etc to maximise flow, noise resonance, throttle response, etc, while keeping weight to a minimum.
That full throttle blower whine is still just cool to listen to though!

I was just talking to my machinist at work the other day about fitting a positive displacement blower to my nytro instead of turbo charging it as it would allow instant throttle response and then i see this. Let me know what the kits are going to cost and if you are going to need any other sleds to test it on. i would love to see how this works out!

Would you have a general idea of how much one of these would cost?

Prices will be very close to the currently available s/c kit after you purchase all the other stuff you need that doesn't come with it.
Our twin screw kits will ship complete with everything you need to hit the trail including clutching, oil filter relocation kit, crank case vent/oil separator system and guages (psi/coolant/AFR). The only thing you should have to purchase in addition is an oil change for the sled. We're working out the details on a number of options to be available at the time of ordering, and we'll be releasing more information soon.
We anticipate dyno testing within the next couple weeks as our sleds are ready, we're just working on scheduling, which is tight with Haydays just around the corner!
