just picked up my power surge '15 xtx se...dont really like this wimpy stock front bumper.
What do we have for options? i want wider, and stronger wouldnt hurt either.
liked the timbersled for the nytro and how it tied into upper shock mounts, cant find one for viper?
as of now Im looking at the Yamaha accessory, grab bar, wide, follows body lines nicely.
dont really like the skinz fit, and the racewerx seams crazy expensive for plasma cut flat aluminum!!
anything i missed fellas?

mr sled, so far that is the bumper im leaning towards!! your wrap is bada$$. great pic
putz, your raceworx is nice too, and if the price was close id have a really tough decision, but at 349, thats 200 towards other assys im wasting!!
wot, i like the skinz price, function, however the way the angle flares away from the body line to provide wider protection drives me crazy!!! must follow the body lines.
if i was to make my own, i would follow the body lines like mrsleds factory yami bumper does. also like the way that bumper sends those 2 tubes down low for protection,
kinda wondering if it will bother me with the skinz float plate or if I should use the yami skids. loved the way my nytro floated with the plate, hated clearing the snow/ice out of it all the time.

Another Yamaha sport bumper here, pretty reasonable price and will protect much more than the stock single bar.

Is there any issue getting to the 2 screws that hold down the hood at the very front of the sled with those Yamaha bumpers?

not when there is no ice in the way. there is 2 holes to get the torx out. but ice builds up there

It's a yamaha engine. No reason to take the hood off. Don't worry about frozen screws under the bumper. Haha

It's not the Yamaha engine I'm worried about, it's the arctic cat hose clamps. Lol.It's a yamaha engine. No reason to take the hood off. Don't worry about frozen screws under the bumper. Haha

Lol. Put a few drops of lock tight on those clamps then you won't have to worry about those working loose
