I tried my new D&F setup from Boss Performance and must say is alot smoother engagement didn't realize how much I was missing the smoother engagement than is way better than my previous setup. Thanks again Scott. I had to do some fine tuning because I was over reving in the top. Mind you this was glare ice and traction was a issue in the 1000 ft radar runs I did Saturday only 91.8 for best speed and across the lake best I would see was 103 gps so knew I had to do something. I thought I was over reving in the mid too but started today with just adding a bolt to the tip and ran probably twent runs on our local make shift drag strip gps it at exactly 1/2 mile As before traction was still a bit of a issue for good starts and worse mid to 3/4 track got better after a few runs in the start though since I made some tracks with new setup saw 10900 to 11000 top end but hard to judge mid from spinning but I constantly saw 112 gps on three back to back runs was seing 110 to 111 gps with suspension set at softest on tunnel dial so firmed it up to my normal riding area setting and thats where I saw the back to back 112s. Pretty happy with this I'm a real newbie to clutching for the most part and after I talk with Scott I may try something different but real happy saw 113 and 114 gps on back to back runs for the best runs of the day so very happy One question I'm guessing I will drop a couple hundred rpms on hard packed snow with maybe some better traction in the right conditions am I right ???? chime in please remember newbie here. Did do back to back testing of ram air lid versus stock best run with stock was 108 and that was out of three runs ram air very next run 112 so it did make a difference. Quick note I did race another 09 LTX Saturday and he'd beat me by two lengths or so he had Woodys powerup kit which is 3 degree key air box mod od sheave and I think cut helix with silver spring unsure about spring but thats was the same powerup kit I had in my 06 RTX STOCK weights so not bad for that kit I did have a big dis advantage in the traction department 135 thru out track in/out side vs, his 168 down the middle and my over reving maybe next time A 06 rtx stock ran with 144 studs only 84 so happy even with the over rev. Woody from Woodys performance in Topsham Maine ran a 148 with his turbo RX1 in a thousand ft thats screamin I highly recomend Scott at Boss performance he is very knowlegable. I sent him a paypal payment just for his help I did not purchase the weights from him but just for his help with a great setup in my opinion no I have not raced anyone after adjustments but very happy Scott may have a better idea we shall see and oh yeah Scott didn't expect payment I offered and sent it anyways He deserved it Thanks Mark

Yes totally different than Turks setup haven't had a chance to compare with other sleds yet but pulls great from bottom to the top we shall see this weekend.

As you can see I'm pretty much stock compared to your setup but by seat of the pants which doesn't mean much Scotts setup is awesome only had to make a small adjustment real test will be my ride this weekend gone till Thursday riding thank god we got some snow and colder temps. One quick note this setup is the best I have ever seen top end 114 gps with several 112 and 113 gps runs 1/2 mile track and they werent the best conditions lost some traction mid and 3/4 track. it was isc but not the best so I'm happy now to put my buddys wifes F7 and my other buddies F7 and turbo cat to shame LOL I hope.......
