I was wondering if anyone has had success with adding an after market set of arms to their Nytro? It seems like most of the ones out there are like Timbersled. Which are narrow. I am not sure how these would work with wider ski's to compensate for the new stance. The only one I can seem to find which is slightly wider are these

These arms on this site will run you $2,000.00 by the time you buy their shocks. Since they don't fit the atypical shock size. OUCH!
I thought Pioneer sold them, but he said that his will only fit the early model style models. Looking for a wider (but not completley illegal) set that is light and strong. Any ideas?
They make them for the Apex style sleds, but why not these??

I was reading SnoWests Mod-Stock performance guide and it showed an XTX Style conversion A-arm set up from Mountain Performance that includes 09 geometry a-arms and billet spindles, they said the kit is $800 but when I looked for them on the website they weren't listed...I still don't know why Yamaha isn't offering a kit to update the 08's ( for those who want it )

also on snowest look up west coast sleds, they have a light weight front end kit. just ask them to build the wider fronts, if they get enough demand, they will build them. ski
Could just cut the frame mounts off stockers and add Hiems with threaded inserts for about a inch.I think Hygear did that to the uppers to get better geometry on 08.Shock position should be okay yet or at most need to be moved toward frame a bit more than a inch.

Mainly looking for more stability with the added power. I don't mind it in the twist and turns now, but over a 100 on a not so smooth lake she gets a little squirrely.
More caster would help that.Otherwise more toe out but that will hurt your speed.

Sometimes I think I expect to much. Its hard to have an apex feel in the straights and the fun of the nytro rider forward in the twist and turns. Think a second sled might help:0)
Yea.Same here.I still have my SRX but everytime I go for a ride I know there will be some huge rough trail somewhere so I leave the SRX at home.
