CHEAP FIX AND WORKS GREAT!!! Go to your local hardware store and buy some one sided taped door foam. About 1/4 thick and 1/2 wide. Cut it in half the 1/2 way and put it on top of the seal that is there. I know this is not the answer you are looking for but it will fix your problem. Been 3 years since I did mine and works great. Did my wifes and two of my buddy's and they love it. If you go to johndee.com and do a search you will see some pics that I put on there about it.

Mod 2 helmet, best helmet I have owned. When you pull the shield down, if you don't here it SNAP shut, it isn't shut all the way. I ride with a guy that has the same helmet, and after 2 seasons, he figured out, he wasn't closing the shield all the way. Just my .02 worth.
love mine, if your getting snow dust in it, its the same as the old one, there is a seal on the visor slide that has too much gap, they will get this after a year or so and need to be restuck closer together bu I have had three modulars including the new one and never got a new one that needed it done. My mod 2 is three years old and It needs the seal moved together, starting to get some snow dust.
I love the helmet though, breath out of your mouth all day and never fog, have riden in -20 for hours and other than some freezing around the breath box output that needs to be chipped off, my head was the warmest thing on me.
FYI, if you buy 8AC-2414B-01-00 and 4XV-2341B-00-00 you can turn this helment into a yamaha helmet. large one on the back and tiny tuning fork on the front.

I got one (mod 2 helmet see below) this year so far best helmet ever, my dealer also got it for 199.99 then taxes.

Thanks for all the input guys. I was thinking about trying the foam tape, that should help. I did pick up on the fully closing issue pretty quick, and did notice that sometimes when raising the sun visor, the main shield will open a crack. There's also a pretty good gap between the top of the helmet and the shield, but only on one side. The other side seals tight. There is definitely a gap in the seal for the sun visor slider. I noticed this right away and tried to push the two pieces together. As soon as I operated the slider, the gap was back.
Betheviper - how'd the County fare from all this rain. I was up the last 2 weekends, and while all the clubs were doing a great job, there were a lot of thin corners. The riding was awesome, but it didn't seem like it would take much to do a lot of damage.

Mine has been drafty since day one. On cold days I find it very uncomfortable with the draft.

Bummer to hear about your issue. I had mine for 2 season and it is the best helmet I have used. Here is couple things an idiot like me had to figure out.
1. Make visor is down all the way. It really doesn't click shut like my old ones.
2. Make sure the magnet engage on the bottom skirt to ensure proper seal.
3. I need to use 2 hand(one on front one in the back) close the face mask on my fat head. I used to think it was closed until I tried this then I heard the full clicks.

I also figured out that I had to put some rings inside the mask and inside the end of the breathing tubes. Otherwise they kept coming out.

yeah put a key ring inside the tube on inside of breath deflector, it will never come out. best helmet i have ever had. personally i need the draft as it keeps my head from sweating. if its cold[below zero] i close the vents.

My BV2S is amazing, almost to warm in anything above 15 degrees. That said I can feel a draft every once in a while it almost seems that snow dust gets in more then air, its rare and it actually helps cool me down!
