i am a new phazer rider and i just put my first 50 miles on and i had a few questions it is -5 and my overheat light come on 3 times but i think it is because my radiator is pluging up with snow. is there a fix.
next thing i noticed is at a certan RPM i hear a deep loud howling sound from the motor is this normal or not? Thanx

Change your coolant maybe that will do the trick. Some guys said it was mixed wrong at factory.Have you heard or seen fan running?I can hear my intake which is stock. It makes a cool howling sound when wide open throttle especially.

i have seen the fan run at idle it is very quite. and i think the overheating is because of iceing up in the front of the tunnle. the snow here is very soft and drifted. i still might change the coolent to.

you will find that the 1.5 freeride track will cool the heat exchanger more and throw in engine ice and get rid of the coolant.
