new sled
sure hope they learned from the phazer! I'm kinda gun shy on buying it. I have the fx and love the chassis design but needs to be way stronger. wouldn't handle the 130hp and extra weight in the phazer chassis.

If the 08's look like the race sled then you can count me out! I don't like it.

Re: new sled
Remember the Phazer is an enrty level sled, not a top of the line snowcross sled. I would like to see any other manufactures entry level sled take a beating like the Phazer does.
Will see the new stuff at the show sunday. I would bet it is based off of the snowcross sled and think Yamaha used this season of snowcross for engine and chassis testing for the '08.

Guys.....I am thinking about buying a Phazer....but, What parts exactly need more strength.? Have a lot of guys been breaking/bending things? Thanks for any info.

I have been sno-cross racing my phazer, and so far have tore up all of the shocks. Still working on the valving. Broke the rear axel adjuster off. One exhaust flang has seperated from the pipe at the head (bad weld from the factory) ate up some hyfaxes, and looks like the upper idlers have flat spots on them. Other than that, nothing to major yet. In my opinion, the 500 has good pull, but the open tunnel is a problem, and then need to work on the suspension still.

I think that everyone needs to understand that the Phazer is an entrylevel sled!!! Dont complain abaout the power, u all knew it was 80hp and if u dont like it dont buy it... and if the phazer can hold upp in snowcross i think the problems with bent stuff is eighter hitting things or u have got a BAD produced part??
Look at the other manufacturers entry level... Freestyle etc... Do you think the can take the kind of beating that the phazer can???

Totally agree Kråkan, except for one thing? Where can you find a Phazer in snocross? Is there a swedish Phazercup now?
