Picked up new my new LTX-LE yesterday and got to pull the trigger for the first time today. As expetcted, the motor did not disappoint. Yamaha gets at thumbs up for the fun factor with this motor/chassis combo.

As expected after reviewing posts, skid supspension is too stiff even on softest settings (have plans for shock revalve in the works).

As far as corner handling goes, the LTX (as delivered fromt he dealer) does push in the corners even though I already pulled the rear skid limiter up a notch (shapers are on order). With proper carbides and proper suspension tuning I am certain that this sled will be a rocket in the twisties.

All in all, when considering do I or don't I after the fact, I must say that I have absolutely zero buyers remores eafter riding this sled, and I know that it will only get better with break-in and fine tuning of the supension and handling.

Thanks to TY and all who post. Your threads make it easy for someone who is considering dropping in excess of $12K on a new sled to know what they are in for, and to avoid having unreasonable expectations once the get their new toy home.

There's definitely no excuse. That's why I love this site! Congrats on the new purchase, I too will be buying a new sled...once I see what comes out in a few days.

Somebody has to tease you! And you're correct, we drove by there on Tuesday on our way to Lewiston for lunch! LOL!!!
